All recommended pictures from their original blog remain large when the post is shared, all non recommended pictures remain small when the post is shared.

Thank you for confirming that. I shared something to Planelopnik that I had enlarged on my private blog, and it stayed big. I would like to share my ongoing Planelopnik History posts with a large picture, but I don't want to spam Oppo.

It's a two-edged sword, I suppose - I can't imagine abuse will be too prolific, just because posts can always be unshared by anybody.

One of the things that I like about the current system of relying on Mods to embiggen pictures and headlines is that there is some selection process, however arbitrary, that decides which posts will get emphasized. Not every post deserves that much attention. However, it does seem that posts made by Mods get embiggened more often than others.

You can reframe your shares if you'd like to make little pics on Oppo. Just start a share and add your pic and a lede into the edit window and done recommend the pic.

So, make a post to your own blog, embiggen the picture there, then share with the picture un-embiggened?

I have most certainly not noticed certain people's certain posts obtaining certain "enhancement". The deuce, you say.

You got it. Do this, but don't big pic it.

Thanks. Let me ask you this, if you know. I've been collecting my Planelopnik History posts under the tag " Planelopnik History ". Is it possible to create a sub blog of those posts rather than a tag?

Absolutely. I can make you an admin on Planelopnik and you can modify or use that if you'd like, or you can start your own sub blog using instructions that gamecat wrote up a while back.

I don't have a link to his write-up handy, but I can dig it up later.

I think I'd rather have my own sub blog, but I also wouldn't mind being an admin on Planelopnik. I think there are only about 4 or 5 people who post to that tag with any regularity, though I'd love to see more. I'll do some googling and see if I can find Gamecat's instructions.

Thanks!

You are now a Planelopnik admin. Here is Gamecats sub blog instructions.

http://gamecat235.kinja.com/how-to-create-…

Couple tips if you haven't jumped into it yet. Create 2 new kinja logins completely separate from your ttyymmnn kinja. A new one for both twitter and gmail. Just make up something and save the logins for both. After you create your subblog, you can make ttyymmnn an admin and owner. Otherwise, just follow the instructions and its not too complicated.

Thank you! I'll delve into this later today. Cheers!
